Lady Eagles Middle School Basketball Remains Undefeated

On Monday, The Lady Eagles Middle School Basketball Team remained undefeated and will be the #1 seed for the upcoming playoffs by defeating rival St Marks Lions 34 - 11.  Amy Kraft led the way with 8 points.  Shayna Dash and Gaya Avidor chipped in with 6 points each.  Rebekah Beauparlant and Olivia Ball added 4 points apiece.  Dana Levine rounded out the scoring with 2 points.  The team finished out the regular season at home on December 8th and hosts the playoffs on December 13th at 4:00 pm.  

Eagles Varsity Basketball Wins at Sheridan Hills

On Tuesday, The Eagles Varsity Basketball Tam improved to 1 - 1 by defeating Sheridan Hills Christian School in a district contest 57 - 46.  Jake Cohen led the way with 15 points.  Jordan Schon chipped in with 10 points.  Michael Sherman had 8 points and 10 rebounds.  Danny Siemens and Kai Moran added 6 points apiece,  Abe Waserstein and Matthew Levine contributed 4 points each and Steven Kaminecki added 3 points and George Linz 2 points.  The team takes on a very strong Yeshiva High School team this Saturday night at Hillel Boca's gym at 8:30 followed by a match up with state ranked Grandview Prep on December 6th at 5:30 at Grandview.

Eagles Varsity Soccer Wins in Weston

On Tuesday, the varsity boys soccer team improved their overall record to 5-1-1 by beating Sagemont 4 - 2..  The team was led my Adam Salama who scored three goals and had one assist.  Adam Satiowitz also scored in the game.  The Eagles played a strong first half and led 3-0 at half time. Dylan Joseph, Josh Salama, Ari Holzhauer played solid defense holding a strong Lions team to just 8 shots on goal.

Eagles Middle School Soccer Beats Posnack

On Monday, The Eagles Middle School Soccer Team improved to 3 - 2 - 1 with a convincing victory over rival Posnack Day School Rams by the score of 4 - 1.  Eitan Heller put the Eagles on the board first with a goal with 7 minutes to go in the first half.  Sammy Siemens, Eitan Heller and Scott Houtkin scored goals in the second half to put the game away.  Jake Haskin also played well for the Eagles.  With a win at St. Marks on Monday, November 28th, the Eagles will qualify for the playoffs.

Lady Eagles Basketball Improve to 6 - 0

On Monday,  The Lady Eagles Middle School Basketball Team improved to 6 - 0 with a hard fought win over The Posnack Rams by the score of 22 - 16.  Isabella Gerstin led the way with a season high 16 points.  Dana Levine, Olivia Ball and Rebekah Beauparlant each chipped in with 2 points each.  Amy Kraft, Shayna Dash, and Romy Hurwitz played outstanding defense for the Lady Eagles.  The team travels to St Marks on November 28th and with a win will be top seed for the upcoming playoffs on December 12th.

Eagles Varsity Boys Soccer Shuts out Posnack

On Thursday., The High School Varsity Eagles Soccer team improved their record to 3-1 with a win over David Posnack by a score of 6-0.  The Eagles scored their first goal of the game when Noah Bick scored from a beautiful pass from Adam Salama.  After an own goal, Matt Lipson stole the ball in the midfield and then scored the third goal in the half.  In the send half Lior Chaham, Dylan Joseph and Adam Salama all scored. Robbie Shinder recorded his first shutout this season.  The Eagles will look to improve their record to 4-1 on Saturday night, November 19th  when they take on Yeshiva at 8 o’clock.

Lady Eagles Varsity Soccer Defeats Posnack Rams

On Thursday, The Lady Eagles Varsity Soccer Team evened their record at 2 - 2 with a convincing victory over Posnack Day School 7 - 2.  Mikaela Mesch had three goals and assisted on three more goals.  Julia Levy also had three goals and one assist.  Rebecca Wirtschafter also scored for the Lady Eagles.  The team has a cross town rival game this Monday night at home against Yeshiva at 6:00 pm.
